Sand Kittens Are The Pride Of Poland’s Zoo Gdansk!

Poland’s Zoo Gdansk welcomed two bright-eyed, fluffy-faced baby sand cats this year!

This is the second litter of these beautiful animals for the zoo in its Oliski Garden.

Sand cats first came to live in Gdansk Zoo in 2015. They were two males named Abu and Zabi. A few years later, a female Maolie and another male, Daraw, joined them. The first offspring were born in June 2021. And now there is a second litter – a male and a female!

The kittens are 2 months old. Since birth, there’s been a clear difference in personality between the siblings. The male is more reserved, almost shy. The female is delicate, but curious, and is more likely to approach humans.
