In September, ZooBorns brought you the debut of Zoo Basel's troublesome cheetah trio. Last month, photographer Tambako the Jaguar followed up on the 5-month-old cubs and produced this series of stunning shots. Cheetahs are unique among cats both for their exceptional speed (up to 75 mph) and inability to climb trees.

Korea's Everland Zoo is home to some of the all-time classic ZooBorns. In this shot, photographer floridapfe catches one of the zoo's Pigtail Macaques in dreamland.  Sleeping off a turkey hangover perhaps?

The latest attraction at Japan's Kamine Zoo are three little lion cubs named Karl, Mimee, and Neymee. In this adorable video, the troublesome trio treat crowds to a show of cute. Despite the special enclosure and photo op, keepers say they are trying to keep human contact to a minimum. 

Meet Japan’s latest animal star. She’s snuggling up to her 26-year-old mother, "Momoko." The baby was born to the Western Lowland Gorilla clan at the Ueno Zoo in Tokyo. She now weighs about four pounds.

Three-week-old White-Cheeked Gibbon baby 'Walli' drinks bottled milk in the arms of surrogate mother Christina Schneider at the Schwerin Zoo in Germany yesterday, November 25th. The baby was not accepted by its mother and therefore has to be raised by hand. 'Walli' has to be fed every two hours. The hand raising will take about six months.

The Columbus Zoo's little lion cubs are growing up fast and treat mom like a jungle gym. Now ready for their public debut, we strongly recommend you make the trip to watch them romp. African lion populations have decreased by a staggering 50% over the last two decades due to human encroachment. Earlier photos available here.

Willa is a 7 month old Swamp Wallaby who just arrived at Australia's Taronga Zoo. Up until now, Willa has been cared for by Skye Adams of the Sydney RSPCA. Her life is now beginning at the zoo and when she is big enough she will be introduced to the other wallabies in theAustralian Walk Through exhibit.

ZooBorns readers are no strangers to adorable ocelot kittens, but this interaction with Litchfield, Arizona's Wildlife World Zoo's new ocelot kitten was too cute to pass up. Thanks to vileoxidation for the great pics.

Last week, photographer ysaleth snapped these adorable shots of the San Diego Zoo's New Guinea Singing Dog puppy. This wild dog has been isolated from other dog populations for nearly 6,000 years and has developed the ability to modulate its characteristic howl, resulting in a song-like vocalization.

Early this month, Sea World San Diego announced the hatching of 82 Baby Sea Turtles on the park's Shipwreck Beach. The hatchlings, born without human aid or incubation, are developing well and park officials are pleased with the progress. The babies eat a varied diet of squid, krill, shrimp, and special pellets. Adult Sea Turtles live to be well over 100 years old!
