ZooBorns partnered with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and Simon & Schuster to develop three books, ZooBorns CATS!, ZooBorns (for all ages) and ZooBorns! (for young children). The books showcase the newest and cutest baby animals born at zoos and aquariums around the world. Highlighting each baby as an individual, we include their name, date of birth, home zoo, and fun facts about their unique personality as well as the conservation challenges faced by their species.
Just as with the site, we seek to build awareness about the ways breeding programs at accredited institutions help support conservation efforts in the wild. Additionally, 10% of all ZooBorn's proceeds from the sale of every book goes to support the AZA's Conservation Endowment Fund.
