A baby gibbon sits on a swing in its enclosure in Vienna's Schoenbrunn zoo, in this photograph released by the zoo on February 3, 2010. The gibbon, born on September 23, 2009, has yet to be sexed and named. Any suggestions? Picture taken January 4, 2010.

That is the cutest baby gibbon I've ever seen! Usually when I see them, they're clinging tight to Mama.

At our zoo, we try to choose baby names according to where the animals originate. Because Indonesia is one place gibbons are found, how about "Indah", which means "beautiful, fine, handsome, lovely" according to an online dictionary. Not sure if anyone can help with whether this is a girls or boys only name!

Zoogirl, Indah sounds like a good name. It's more of a girl's name.

I think this cute chap is the gibbon referred to by the media as "ET" back in Sept 09 when the baby was born. http://theprancingpapio.blogspot.com/2009/09/so-adowable.html
