I'm so glad I discovered this site. I get so angry and depressed reading the news these days that this wonderful, wonderful site helps undo a large chunk of the negativity.
Thanks a lot!
(Now I'm off to check out some wolves and walruses!)

This site is my optimistic moment of the week. It is wonderful to hear of the conservation and rare species survival programs of zoos around the world!

Surely to dear god ,I am not the only one in the world that wonders" what are you doing??" These babies are no more being raised right than a piss ant.Why in the world would you take the babes away from their mothers? I do know exceptions to that rule but OMG...a sterile lab compared to it's mothers soft caressing tongue and purring?? Yeah, i guess a rubber coated finger and the smell of disinfectants gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.
